I am a husband in Sunny California—I was born in a town in Sweden and I moved to California in 2006, I have been doing coding since I was around 12 or 13 years old and I’ve always had a passion for design and optimization. Whether it be image design, photo manipulation or photo retouching or optimization. Only recently have I picked up trying to learn a computer language again, even though I’ve pretty much only grasped the early 38% of PHP, it’s a lot of fun and an easy language to learn once you grasp the basics.

So how does a Swede end up in California?

I ask myself this every now and then, I also ask myself how I got from nowhere to somewhere. Back in 2004 I started playing Star Wars Galaxies, met a couple of people and became close friends with this friend of mine.

As lonely as I felt before I met her, the warm and friendly personality she gave out (and still gives me) gave me hope of a future and a tomorrow.

The weirdest thing with moving to the United States is when you’re used to thinking in Swedish, and then catch your inner voice changing from Swedish to English.

Her name was Saharaa Lightningrider

She was my crush in the game, she ended up becoming my wife in Star Wars Galaxies and later on became my best friend and spouse. If you and your love’s world is split by an ocean, do not give up. Keep fighting, as long as there is love there is hope. We did it, and you can too.

Have we met?

I’ve been in multiple places online and met so many friends, there are a lot of friends I’ve lost communications with and that I miss a lot. The ♥ indicates that that’s my “main character” I play/played on.
